Jalna Fishing Boat

Jalna’s new work/fishing boat is well underway, and is shaping up well! The steel vessel is built to Seafish and Workboat Coding, and is the second boat built by Jalna in recent years. Test Press – 100 tonnes

Jalna Construction has built a test press, capable of exerting up to 100 tonnes of pressure. The press was commissioned on 16th April 2015, and Jalna are thrilled to report that is performs to expectations. Now for the clean down and painting, before the piece is sent to its new home. AV Dawson’s 2 no. 6 tonne Spreader Beams

Jalna Construction Limited assist with the shipping of 172 tonne Turbine

Over the weekend of 10th-12th April 2015, JALNA assisted in the shipping of the 172 tonne Turbine for the new Wilton Power Station. The turbine arrived to Dawsons Wharf on MV River Pride 1 on Friday 10th. A second vessel, the MV Meerdijk, arrived Saturday evening with ancillary equipment for the Turbine.
