Greg Horner, over 40 years experience in steel fabrication, I still enjoy the challenges and thrive on the more awkward jobs and sharing my knowledge with the younger members of our team.
Passionate about fishing in particular the older traditional fishing ports hence the interest in boat building, to relax I enjoy the climate Mediterranean France and the food and wine even more.
After completing his formal secondary school education and college, Richard joined his father Greg Horner in the very early stages when Jalna Construction was first formed and became Director in 2004.
Throughout the years Richard has worked “hands on” plating/fabricating and achieving welding qualifications gaining valuable knowledge and experience in the industry working closely with his clients and the shop floor to ensure projects are achieved. Richard has been key in developing Jalna’s new facilities and responsible for identifying new commercial activities and driving business growth.
Away from work Richard enjoys spending time with his family, Kate, Lilia and Baby Bump. For adventure he is often out fishing offshore in North Sea and keeping fit by playing various sports before enjoying a well-earned social beverage or two.
