  • Greg Horner, over 40 years experience in steel fabrication, I still enjoy the challenges and thrive on the more awkward jobs and sharing my knowledge with the younger members of our team.

  • Passionate about fishing in particular the older traditional fishing ports hence the interest in boat building, to relax I enjoy the climate Mediterranean France and the food and wine even more.

Richard Horner, Commercial Director

  • After completing his formal secondary school education and college, Richard joined his father Greg Horner in the very early stages when Jalna Construction was first formed and became Director in 2004.

  • Throughout the years Richard has worked “hands on” plating/fabricating and achieving welding qualifications gaining valuable knowledge and experience in the industry working closely with his clients and the shop floor to ensure projects are achieved. Richard has been key in developing Jalna’s new facilities and responsible for identifying new commercial activities and driving business growth.

Thomas Horner, Business Development Manager

  • Business Development Director Thomas Horner joined Jalna Construction in 2010, following the family footsteps after studying Mechanical Engineering at Teesside University.

    In those 4 years Thomas has learned a vast amount within the engineering and fabrication sector.

  • He has forged and continues to forge good ongoing relationships with current clients as well as new ones.

    Outside of work Thomas has a keen passion for motorsport and skiing, he enjoys days out in his vintage cars or on his motorbike. Tom enjoys the finer things in life, fine wine and food is a must, and a little sunshine doesn’t go amiss.
