This month, Jalna Construction have been working on the River Tyne to support the mobilisation of a new wind turbine assembly site. Our years of experience has given us an enviable reputation in the industry for our capability of on-site fabrication and site services.
Our role involved welding, steel fabrication, and on-site preparation to ensure the client was able to safely deliver the first mock run of assembly of the wind turbine base on the site.
Welding and Precision Fabrication On-Site
The Jalna team performed a series of works including:
- Removing cradles and sea fastenings
- Managing hot works to ensure they were safely contained
- Safely removing transportation frames
- Fabrication of parts required on site

Jalna Construction is continuing to help ensure the site is ready for ongoing assembly, transport, and installation activities in the months ahead.
