Stainless Steel fabrication of a new intervention panel

Jalna Construction recently completed the fabrication of a new intervention panel for a subsea cable‑laying machine. The original mild‑steel panel and framework had begun to show significant corrosion after prolonged exposure to a saltwater environment.

To ensure long‑term durability, we replicated and fabricated the replacement using high‑grade marine stainless steel. The work was carried out in our dedicated stainless‑steel fabrication facility within our purpose‑built workshop. Throughout the process, careful attention was given to weld cleanliness and heat control to preserve material properties and achieve a high‑quality finish suitable for subsea service. Images of the completed fabrication are shown below.

Jalna Construction was the ideal choice for this project, supported by our fully equipped workshop featuring two 15‑tonne overhead cranes, guillotines, press brakes, lathes, milling machines, large pillar drills, and extensive MIG and TIG welding capabilities across stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium, and other materials. All fabrication is carried out by our team of coded welders.
